Surf Lessons For Everyone

You will get wet, you will fall, you will laugh, and by the end of the day you will surf a wave on Cape Cod.

"These guys are great! You get the full surf experience and for a great price, too."

Brian and Scott are really great teachers and really fun guys. We had a group of 4 adults and they got us all surfing successfully by the end of the lesson. After, they had great suggestions on Cape hangouts. All around they definitely made our trip amazing!

"Nauset Surf School is now a permanent required activity for his annual visit!"

This is the second year my nephew has had a lesson with these guys. Brian is SO great at getting the basics across and instilling confidence in his first-time surfer students! (It's hard to tell who gets more excited when the students ride in their first waves ... Brian or the student!)
I know that Nick never wants the lesson to end and a lesson or 2 with Nauset Surf School is now a permanent required activity for his annual visit! Thanks guys!

"Fantastic group lesson experience for adults and kids - great value!"

Brian and Nicole gave us a great overview and practice on land, then were super attentive and helpful in the water. 5 beginners ages 9-50, we all got up multiple times on 4 foot waves. We all felt completely safe under Brian and Nicole's active hands-on supervision.

If you are looking for a great surfing experience on Cape Cod, look no further than Nauset Surf School!

Brian, a Cape Cod native,  began Nauset Surf School in 2014.  He worked as a lifeguard for five summers at Flax Pond Day Camp.  He also owned a surf shop in Puerto Rico.  Brian has engineering degrees from RPI and CMU. He currently works as an engineer at Blue Origin.

Scott is surfer, sailor, and all around man of the water. He grew up on the Cape and studied painting at the New Hampshire Institute of Art.  We call him the "foreman" of Nauset Surf School.

Dean is part of an exclusive group of locals who surf the giant swells of the winter.  Dean, an ex-lifeguard,  is known for his enthusiasm in the water and his fearless approach to wave riding.  Dean is a graduated cadet of Norwich Academy where he played hockey and studied.

Nicole is a freelance graphic designer and photographer. She grew up on the Cape surfing, sailing, and making music and art. She loves traveling, spending time outside, and making new friends in the line up.

Emma is going into her senior year at Colorado college where she studies English and film. A lover of hiking and skiing, guitar, and of course surf! She learned to surf when she was 7 years old and has been surfing on the cape and all over ever since.

When Tyler is not surfing he is making ice cream at the Ice Cream Cafe and working on photo and film projects (most of the tasty shots we have on here are his!). See more of his work here.
